Don't Miss A Thing!

**** I have a tendency to write several blog posts in one sitting. I like to think of it as time management when I have a big block of time to sit down and get caught up. If you check in on the blog from time to time... be sure to scroll down, and you may have to even click onto the next page to be sure you've gotten all the latest Ramsey news. (Blogger has restricted the number of posts I can have on the first page, so I never know what exactly is coming up). Thanks for checking in with us, and following along on Our Great Life Adventure! ****

We've been doing...

A whole lot of nothing! That's why there really haven't been any blog posts. Braden is potty training and it's going. It's not terrible and it's not perfect. He totally get the concept, he'll take initiative on his own sometimes, but it's mostly my prompting (or nagging... I'm annoying myself with it sometimes). I have nothing else to compare it to, but I'll say that it appears it's the right time and it's beginning to work and we're sticking with it. And while it's a bit controversial (what part of parenting isn't) we are using M&Ms as treats and for our boy... it's been a big hit. We're using training pants for now so no huge, messy accidents - but I know I need to move to the big boy underpants soon enough to really push it to the next level... maybe next week.
On Valentines Day we went as a family to a nice restaurant in Squamish for lunch. We were the only ones at the place (I think it's more of a dinner place and they would be really busy that evening). But the food was great and we made it home in time for Braden's nap and spent the evening watching rented movies we picked up in town.
Chad's on a longer work trip this week and I'm doing much of the same day in and day out. We are both really anxious for nice weather. After staying pretty inactive on weekends through the winter I'm ready to head out for some excursions to enjoy this beautiful part of the world so I'm on the lookout for some fun family things to do.
That's all for now - things are a bit boring - but the weeks continue to pass quickly and I can't believe we've been here almost a year already.
